I deciede that I would head straight for the place there would be most hope for paradise But it was quite aways away. The only peopel who could operate vehicals were soldiers. So i had to walk from Florida to New York. Nathan loved New York because of its tall buildings. It was also where the staue of liberty use to stand.
When Nathan was took over it was the first thing to be distroied because of all the emotional ties of hope freedom and justice. In away when it came down all the dreams of the american people were gone as well. I walked for weeks untill i reached a wet and dreary little town in west virginia. I stopped off at a bar to get out of the rainy weather. It was called "Turnagins Tavern" I was eyeballed by the many. It seemd they didnt take to kindly to strangers. I could see why. During the war the whole town was burned to the ground by ...well i dont have to tell you who. It was rebuilt in the honor of nathan as the city of "Birth Of Grey"
I wondered past the piercing eyes and to the back of the pub. i sat in the corner and removed my soaken wet cloak. I remember of nothing about how he appeared in front of me faster then I could say "Bar tender" but he did. It was a mysterious young man with dark blue hair and eyes to Match. He whispered to me "They call me Saphire." he then grinned. "Why are you wareing that over your arm?" he proceeded to grab my right arm. I glared at him and told him to let me go btu he owuldnt do that. "I'll scream." i threatend. He leaned in closer to me and said. " No one's going to help you here. All these Men here are jsut waiting till you turn the wrong way so they can make you there slave and take you any time they want." he frowned at me. "If you want to live you'll come with me."
I looked around an exzammned the men around me. They did indeed look untrust worthy, But then again thye were probably no more trustworthy then this Sapphire. It was then i relized i didnt have to go ither way. i culd run out the door. Saphire must have seen me look at it because he said to me "You'll never make it out of here alive if you do that. Please follow me."I reuctinly followed him. He led me out the door and down the road into the woods. He never once let go of my arm. No matter how often i tried to pull away. He lead me down a muddy path that was hidden a few 100 feet into the woods . It was hidden by a rock wall way and vinnes. Hw must have led me for miles because it started to thunder . Then came the rain. He didn't speak and he kept walking. He finally stopped after hours of walking at a tree. "This is it" he said.
"What is it?" i screamed. He turned and looked at me. There was a sadness in his eyes that slenced me. He didn't apritate me screaming at all. We just stood there. stood there in the rain as it poored down upon us. And we stared. Eventually he turned away and i geuss pressed a secret button because the tree's trunk openeed to reveal a stair way. He took me down it. I didnt even fight it. I don't knwo why i didn't. I geuss i ahd felt bad about before but nither of us spoke. When we got to the bottom of the stairs there was adimly lit room. We sat down at the table. He looked at me in the dim canndle light. His hair dripping. I looked back at him. "What is this place?" i asked him "And what do you want with me?"
